Since I've been working with SolarWinds software lately, I thought I'd take a crack at earning the SolarWinds Certified Professional certification. Happy to say that I passed with flying colors last night!The test itself was a good measure of how much you know about network monitoring in general, with a healthy dose of SolarWinds Orion NPM administration thrown in for good measure. I've been using SolarWinds software since my days as a network administrator at Avectra (good grief, that was like 13 years ago!). I introduced SolarWinds Orion NPM and NTA to the National Science Foundation years ago, and I hope it's still being used to monitor their growing infrastructure. Now I'm using it for a new project I'm working on.
And on that note, I'm off to see what my Top 10s are for today.
